Impacto Gloves Will Leave a Big Impact When Gardening
by mdsassociatesLandscaping and gardening can be very rewarding but they are strenuous activities and filled with hazards such as poison ivy, wasps, bees, snakes and more. If you are a passionate gardener, you most likely own serious tools that make the job easier and safer. No serious gardener would be complete without a good pair of work gloves, a shovel, a wheel barrel and perhaps a cultivator.
Cultivators are very powerful and require good hand and arm strength to control. Similar to a jack hammer, they bounce up and along the surface and require operators to rock the unit through the soil surfaces to be effective. These repetitive motions and vibrations will stress the muscles and joints leaving the hands numb and tingly, the wrists achy sore.
There are two gloves that we recommend when you’re working the soil.
1. The IMPACTO® ST8610 Mesh Anti-Impact Open Finger Glove is referred to as a Carpal Tunnel Glove. It has a unique patented channel over the carpal tunnel designed to keep pressure off the median nerve to alleviate symptoms of repetitive injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome caused by repetitive use and vibrating tools.
2. The IMPACTO® 704-20 Anti-Impact Open Finger Glove features a Wrist Support to prevent over flexion and over extension to help prevent RSI. They are popular hand protection from hand tools, power tools in applications including construction, assembly, manufacturing, maintenance and warehousing.
The Impacto® line of industrial products include the anti-vibration air gloves, anti-impact absorbing gloves, wrist supports for prevention of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) as well as many more - READ more or click the link below to purchase...
