The Distribution Chain

Consumer goods are packaged in corragated fiberboard cartons, shrink wrapped and then loaded inside cargo shipping containers or truck trailers where they are exposed to the elements and left unchecked for extended periods.

As these products travel along the distribution chain, they're subjected to fluctuations in temperatures and humidity levels that results in condensation, referred to as cargo sweat. And, if there is one thing rust or mold absolutely loves - it's moisture!

Cargo DryPlus consists of a three heat sealed Tyvek® bags in a strip format containing a total of 1000 grams secured within a 36-inch long perforated cardboard dispenser that's riveted to a convenient plastic hook that easily hangs in any container, cabinet or door.

One unit treats 72 cubic feet area (4’ x5 ’x 4 +/-). One master case (6 units of 3 strips - 18 total) effectively treats a 20’ GP container. Cargo Dry provides 60-90 days or more of moisture protection to induce or sustain a state of dryness that inhibits the formation of mold, mildew, rust and corrosion.
