From Superior Glove®, The Shield is made from split leather and sewn with Kevlar® thread, it features Velcro® fasteners, reinforced thumb crotch and Kevlar® ballistic armor plating on strategically placed in a geometric sequence designed to protect the areas most vulnerable to nail gun injuries. This single hand solution is intended to supplement existing hand protection such as a pair of puncture resistant work gloves (not a stand alone device).

It is imperative that The Shield be kept in the best physical condition possible. It is recommended that it be returned to Superior Glove® on a regular basis for hand replacement and strategic realignment of the armor plating-especially if the liner or plating has been compromised.
