There is a new technology available for your foodservice packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. 

After use, these plant based compostable Vegware_™ 32-ounce 185-Series PLA paper food bowls can be given a new life as compost, since these cups are lined of material certified to degrade in a commercial composting facility!  These bowls are used with all types of hot and cold food items such as ceral, ice cream, soup, burritos, salads, curry and more. They  can be used as gardening container for growing seeds, a paint or stain container or as a disposable pet dish or bowl.
