There is a new technology available for your foodservice packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. 

After use, these Vegware™  62-Series 4-ounce hot cups can be given a new life as compost, since these cups are made of material certified to degrade in a composting facility within 12 weeks! 4-ounce Single Walled Hot Cups are lined with plant-based PLA and feature a Green Leaf band design so you can showcase your commitment to sustainability and promote your brand Perfect size for use in vending machines. This size is ideal for use in vending. Available in white or kraft colors.
