Full Head Coverage
These 12.4 Cal/cm2 rated PPE 2 Arc Hoods from PIP® are ideal for electrical & utilities, petrochemical, gas & oil, mining, welding and emergency services. Incorporates UV and IR absorbing ARC shield lens providing protection up to 12 cal/cm² (replaceable) and the green tint window is coated with a permanent anti-fog inner surface. Lens is extended 3" from face to accommodate respiratory protection and help minimize lens fogging and meets ANSI Z87.1.
This hood with replaceable shield provides the components needed to be in compliance with the new NFPA 70E 2012 standard. Flame resistant products pass specific ASTM tests that deem the fabrics flame resistant. Made in USA.
- Arc hoods are supplied with hard hat adapters and dialectric safety helmet.
