These Contender™ cut-resistant knitted sleeve protectors from Superior Glove® are made with a double layer tubular knit para-aramid fibers. Rated with an ASTM cut-level A3, Para-aramid fiber is one of the most versatile and dependable fibers. as it provides excellent protection to the wearer against both cutting and burn hazards all while being lightweight and comfortable. Soft, comfortable knit provides a snug fit that conforms to your arm contours for stay-in-place comfort and they provide good resistance to spark, flame and heat. Sleeves will not support combustion. Contender™ sleeves are approved for 2.5 seconds of incidental heat contact at 600°F.
