Dupont™ Tyvek® 400 FC Gray Shoe Covers are a tear-resistant, anti-static, low linting and are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. Tyvek® 400 provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology. Tyvek® fabric offers an inherent barrier to particles down to 1 micron in size. Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek® fabric's durability advantage over microporous film and SMS fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion. This material is stronger and can withstand many snags and scrapes that the polypropylene can't. In addition, DuPont Tyvek® 400 shoe covers can also withstand light splashes and moisture. The DuPont Tyvek® 400 material shoe covers work great for heavy duty industrial applications, working on potentially slippery smooth flooring, and in the medical field.
